We are a leading Commercial Real Estate Property Management firm seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a portfolio of commercial office buildings in Alexandria, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organized and detail-oriented, eager to contribute to the efficient management of our properties.
What You'll Do:
Property Management Support:
Assist the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial office properties, ensuring exceptional operational results and financial performance.
Learn and utilize Building Engines software for various property management tasks.
Conduct follow-ups on quality control and perform building and leasing inspections.
Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all Certificates of Insurance are collected and communicate effectively with all relevant parties, including Datawatch Systems and on-call staff.
Manage tenant appreciation gifts and coordinate tenant signage for building directories and suites, including overseeing signage costs and updates during the lease term.
Assist with bid coordination, reporting, and contractor onboarding.
Maintain the Contractors Rules and Regulations booklet and a master list of all contractors and vendors servicing properties, providing regular updates to Property Managers.
Organize project bids, obtain pricing, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Standardize the company's Form Library on the web and scan contracts for each building.
Leasing Assistance:
Keep the company website and brochures up to date, and assist with digital marketing efforts.
Install updated brochures on the Vice President's iPad and maintain current Space Availability and Prospect Reports.
Support marketing efforts for vacant spaces and help maintain real estate licenses for the company.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in real estate, customer service, sales, customer relations, and/or marketing is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with a proactive and professional attitude.
Customer service-focused, dependable, and self-motivated with a "can-do" approach.
Valid driver's license is required.
