Sr Advance Nuclear Weapons Safety Engineer
This position is fully on-site.
at Huntsville, AL or Dedham, MA.
Must be a US Citizen.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a systems safety engineer for the Fire Control Missile Platform, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for ensuring compliance of Nuclear Weapons Safety requirements for the products we design. Also, you'll analyze and generate Nuclear Weapons Safety artifacts as part of the systems being developed.

Performed system safety analyses of hardware and software including preparing and/or updating safety assessment reports and risk assessment reports
Performed safety analysis techniques for fault tree analyses, failure mode and hazard analyses, as well as experience with the Safety process during product development
Performed system and/or software design where Nuclear Weapon Safety was involved

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Hiring Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
2. Do you have Agile experience preferred.
3. Are you a mid to senior level Systems/Nuclear Engineer with experience performing Nuclear Surety / Safety for weapons systems.
4. Do you have experience with Nuclear Surety
5. Do you have experience with Software Fault Analysis
6. Do you have experience performing system safety analyses of hardware and software including preparing and/or updating safety assessment reports and risk assessment reports
7. Do you have experience performing safety analysis techniques for fault tree analyses, failure mode and hazard analyses, as well as experience with the Safety process during product development
8. Do you have experience performing system and/or software design where Nuclear Weapon Safety was involved?
9. Must have a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance.
